An absolute passion for property and a desire to share her knowledge and success with others is what has led Sonya Treloar through the doors of Ray White and it’s Metropolitan Brisbane North group of offices. 

Born in Brisbane and raised in Adelaide and Bundaberg, Sonya now resides in Bridgeman Downs on acreage and finds the lifestyle second to none.  

After completing her education in Bundaberg, Sonya’s desire to run her own business led to her opening her own fashion accessories and nail salon in 1990.  

After 10 fantastic years in this business the urge to delve into the property market led Sonya to purchase her first block of land to which she subdivided into several lots and sold them off.   

Buoyed by her quick success with this, her next venture was into the commercial arena where she purchased a commercial building, renovated it and promptly resold it at a profit! 

In all of these dealings it was her ability to identify what the buyers wanted and to create a rapport with clients which has been a cornerstone to her success in business from day one.  

In 2005, an opportunity to move to the bright lights of Brisbane gave Sonya just what she wanted – access to a lot more developers and real estate agents and she soon established a name for herself both packaging up development sites for developers as well as having undertaken a couple of small projects herself.

Married to Wayne, their two sons attend Northside Christian College and are very involved with the local community and church. Furthermore, both have donated considerable time to the abolition of Human Trafficking, a crusade which they both feel strongly about.  

Sonya’s broad understanding of the property market and all aspects of renovating, construction, colour selection, design and marketing give her a distinct edge when advising clients in both their purchasing and preparing homes for sale. 

Having never forgotten that the most important skill in business is communication, Sonya is a stickler for ensuring all of her clients are kept fully informed at every step of the way and is something that has won her repeat business and referrals to other clients on many an occasion.
